Major New Features
Saved Views for Data Store Inventory
On the Data Store Inventory page, you can now save views. Adjust filters, columns, and sorting, then save your view. Each saved view appears as an additional tab to the right of the Default View. You can also adjust your preferred view, which will appear on this screen anytime you return to it. All views here only apply on a per-user basis, and no user will see another user's saved views. This mirrors the Saved Views feature on the Classification Management Page.
New Built-in Sensitive Data Types for Credentials and Keys
Netskope One DSPM now classifies sensitive data based on a new category of built-in Sensitive Data Types (or classifiers) called Credentials. These include:
- Azure Access Token
- Certificate & Private Key
- Databricks Access Token
- Google API Key
- Heroku Access Token
- MongoDB Access Token
- Password Hash
- Snowflake Access Token
- User Name
Credentials Sensitive Data Types help you better protect against breaches. Read more about Classification Management.
Improvements and Updates
Support for Netskope One DSPM Role Aliases for IDP User Management
Prior to 8.1, customers managing Netskope One DSPM access via IDP were required to make their remote directory group names match the corresponding Netskope One DSPM role names exactly. Because this wasn't possible for organizations that follow specific naming conventions, Netskope One DSPM has added the ability to define an alias per platform role. This will allow you to maintain your desired remote directory group names and map them to Netskope One DSPM platform roles. Learn more about SSO User Management via Identity Provider.
